It's so sad to see it is in this state, every time I got on there are just 0 or 1 ppl.
Where did everyone go? Is this server dead, not getting any updates? The map has been empty for months, the classrooms are so out-of-place that I dont wanna stay inside.
Wish this server will come to life one day again

Wish this server will come to life one day again What you’re seeing is the product of not having the hogwarts name attached. Galaxy of Magic means nothing to anyone who isn’t attached to this server. This server and its playerbase died along with the halo server, the clonewars server and the hogwarts name.

honestly even if it was just like wizard rp and the name of everything was slightly different I think people would still be playing.
But it took way too long after the server closed down to put up a new server that everyone lost interest anyways. The new map looks like poop and all the new Greek idea feels kind of awful and most of the models are kind of ugly too

When the server initially shut down, Guy and a few staff members did put in a shit ton of effort to try and make something playable. When the community would constantly voice their concerns or criticisms, not much was ever done. Look at how long it took for players and STAFF to tell guy the greek spells weren't great and needed to be changed. He would just tell us that people are babies and will whine at just about anything. He also pushed away quite a bit of staff who were doing nothing but trying to help improve things.
I think what gave the final blow to the server was forcing everyone to play on that dogshit wasteland map for months.
Server is dead, community is basically dead and I don't see it coming back anytime soon, especially with Guy's presence in the community as of late.
Also Michigan, Halo had like no playerbase the second Lexa took over. Its what happens when you let a dictator run a platform :)

Good to see at least this post is getting replies and views, it shows no matter how disappointed we are we still have love for this server <3.
Didn't know so many things have happened behind the scene, listening to the community is a key to success tbh.

I'll say that, things are coming. I can't really say what those things are without giving too much away and possibly risking my position, but things are coming (that aren't the map)
I hope that guy shares the coming things to the server prior to them being released randomly, in the same way that I might post an event announcement a few days before to build up hype for it and so that people know what to expect.
I also think there's misconceptions about the map, forgotten school is not the final map, and sure it's poop, and I'd probably prefer a different map also, but the server is in beta for a reason (as it states when you join) and this deadness is to be expected at points.
The ACTUAL map looks really cool, and I can't wait to be able to explore it and see it in it's final glory and for everyone else to see how good Shy is doing with it, I can't share of course but I hope Guy will at some point. Progress Updates are kind of crucial at this point.
Over all I think that all the points made here are valid and are good constructive criticisms for the most part and I hope something is done soon.

I mean... really? nothing against you but isn't this the same thing that killed the server? lack of communication from guy, constant promises that things are coming, hope that Guy will do SOMETHING to communicate or save the server.
